Facilities and Room Hire

The Gregson offers a number of facilities and rooms for social or private hire – including our friendly bar and café area where we serve fantastic food from Dominics Catering and provide an extensive range of real ales, good lagers, fine wines and many great Malts and spirits.

The Gregson facilities are fully accessible for all, via our lift and level entrances.

Rooms and facilities available

20140125_102107The Main Hall
 (also known as the Bartlett Hall) is a great venue for larger functions Weddings, celebrations, and is often hired out as a live performance space for theatre and music. It offers a capacity of 150 standing 80 seated, a mezzanine balcony area, and both projection and PA system facilities available. The room has a  bar stocking a variety of real ales and fine wines if required.

20140125_102906The Olive Bar and The Meetings Room (both upstairs) are perfect for a more intimate setting and atmosphere, for a smaller celebration, a childrens party or a group/business meeting. The two rooms each have a capacity of 30 people but can be connected to create a lovely small performance/presentation space for 60+ people, with the option of a bar if required. The meetings room has projection and PA facilities.

Cinema, the Gregson has its own 25 seater cinema available for private hire. This is often used, for example for small group presentations or you can book the room for personal use to play your own films to entertain guests and friends. The cinema has become extremely popular as an add-on for Children’s parties also our home-made pizzas and drinks can be taken to the cinema.

All areas are fully accessible via our recently installed lift and our main stairs.
