27.12.05 Happy Xmas
Dear all now that the dust has settled over the turkeys and
nut roasts, its time to think about New Years Eve
here ...
15.12.05 Ding Dong
The Gregson Christmas decorations are now up in the bar and
very pretty they look too, well I think so having helped put them up. The
white plastic Christmas tree (back by popular demand) is particularly
tasteful. See what you think ...

12.11.05 Memberships
Dear all, Gregson memberships are now due for
renewal price held at last years rates £10/£5. This year you get a funky
blue card. Benefits of membership
here ...
Nov 5 & Asian Disaster Appeal
The Asian Disaster fund raising event was a
great success raising over £450 with the table top sale
well supported and the Kids lantern and face painting afternoon packed
with families most returned for the lantern lit procession to the Whalley
Field community bonfire (see image above right) and many returned yet
again to pack out the Gregson and the fund raising disco of local DJs
donating their time for free. Big thanks you to all concerned especially
to organiser Nelson Taylor.
1/11/05 Ceiling

The new Gregson Cafe/Bar ceiling decor was
slapped on in a morning (from 5am for those of you who don't know what a
morning is). The effect can only be described as amazing - speaking as one
of the painters. Click on one of the images (above right) to get a glimpse
in full glorious colour.

October 2005 Summer's almost
gone
But
still time to catch the Gregson Beer garden restyled in the manner of a
Spanish Hotel garden complete with unfinished building site and re-opened
in time for the Autumn.

October 2005 Mr Chips & Ms
Chips

The
Gregson Chippy is back up and running, with extended hours - now open
Monday to Saturday 11.15am-1.30pm and 4.30pm-8pm. The Chippy is serving
new and vastly improved chips with all the usual options. The new style
decorations have met with rapturous approval from users (well the three I
asked anyway, and I like the colour scheme on a personal basis).
Leaning Tower?
The Gregson Cafe is now serving Pizzas on a regular basis ... watch this
space for a whole new winter menu coming out soon.
